My Favorite Lip Tints

Hi! I’m Charlie, I’ve been helping with the development at Encolour for the past months. I have been interested in k-beauty for a couple years, and wear make-up on a daily basis, which means I’m always looking for the nicest, most comfortable lip products!

My interest in Kbeauty started in 2018, and since then I’ve tried many different lip tints, from many different brands. I understand how overwhelming it can seem to be new to Kbeauty and see all these different names and words that you’ve never heard of. I hadn’t heard of much other than lipstick before then. So here I’m going to walk you through some of my favourite lip tint formulas that are a guaranteed success. Of course everyone’s lips are different, as are your tastes and the things you like. But with this list I want to show some recommendations of products that I know and trust, and give you an idea for what you might want to try.

This lip tint is kind of on the pricey side, but I think it’s worth it, which is why it’s at the top of my list! I’ve tried three colours. Daffodil is a bright but soft pinky red, which in the end made my really pale face look even paler. I didn’t like this, but I’ve seen it look beautiful on more tan skin and live up other people’s complexion beautifully!. So if you’re looking for a lip color that livens up your skin color, I recommend you try Daffodil. Taupe is my favorite shade of the bunch, a deep warm reddy brown. It looks nice as a thin layer for everyday, but for special occasions it can look very sophisticated if you put on a thicker, dark layer. Persistence is a really pretty midtone pinky purple. It can be layered thinly, to give a deep pink lip result, or darker, to be a bright purple. I’ve found these liptints to be pretty much fail-safe, they don’t smear too much, are comfortable, don’t cling to dry spots, and fade in a pretty way! The shade range is also really unique, but wearable, and I’m sure there’s a shade for everyone there. Luckily this color is to be found on Encolours Shopping a list!

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint

This lip tint is really hard to find now, but I’ve been using it for years and still LOVE it. I have the color Sauternes Coral, which is a soft nude pink that isn’t too bright. The taste and smell is sweet, the color is soft and enhances my lips nicely without seeming overdone. It feels very moisturizing and layers perfectly under other lip products. My go-to-lip look used to be this lip tint with 3CE Taupe over it for a gradient effect, and I loved that. I recognize it’s unfair to recommend a lip tint that’s nearly impossible to find, so I looked into which lip tints that we have at Encolour that give a similar effect. And I have a feeling that Peripera Ink Tint Serum in Over Pretty might just be the replacement I’ll get if I ever run out of my trusty Wine Lip tint. It looks a little more saturated, but a thin layer looks like it would produce the same pretty soft pink MLBB shade that this lip tint does!

This is a new favourite, I only tried it for the first time a couple months ago. I immediately fell in love at the first try with the sweet scent and lightweight formula of this product. The color Fig Fig is a perfect slightly brown MLBB shade on me, and Cherry Bomb is a bright pop of color for when I want to have some fun with my lip look. This tint wears nicely, and leaves an even stain even after the glassy look has worn off. It dries down quickly and leaves a hydrated feeling, all the while it adds a slightly glossy look which makes the lips look fuller. We carry this product on Encolour, so if this sparked your interest, there’s nothing stopping you from trying it!

Of course there’s many different Lip Tints out there that I haven’t tried, but for now, these are my top favorite Lip Products that I wear on a weekly basis. Which recommendation will you give a try?

Thanks for reading and see you at the next post~

Charlie
